Hi. Welcome back from the family-food-joy indulgence of the Christmas season. I hope your holiday was as lovely as ever this year. I look forward to sharing with you later today a few snapshots of our family celebration.

Welcome also today to the newly updated City Cradle site. What do you think? Thanks in advance for being patient with us this week as we fix all the little bugs. May I share with you what has changed around here and why I am so excited?

On this front page is still our family blog, where I will continue to post pictures of our sweet little ones, stories about our life and thoughts on mothering twins in the city. I hope, as usual, you will enjoy coming here to read up on our family adventures.

In addition I will now have the chance to more thoroughly develop the recent blog turn of sharing with you great design tips, do-it-yourself projects, free downloads and resources for making your life more lovely. You will now find those posts separate under the D.I.Y. page listed above. Check out the New Years countdown that will be posted there this week.

Lastly, what might be most exciting for me- from here on out this site will also function as a launching pad for City Cradle Design & Event Planning- a dream and passion I have had for years that is finally finding fruition through online event design. I just smile getting to say that:)

You can check out my events and inspirations as they grow on the event design page (which will be up and running shortly). I will be offering custom online event design including theme, budget, time line and party decor through this site.

You can also now access my online custom party supply store from this site under the new store page. Here you will find party supplies sold a la cart plus party packages- which are complete event designs created to make your party come together beautifully, with minimal budget and effort. Currently, I have a few preview items listed and will be stocking this store with more party designs and supplies each week.
