I remember sitting home in college many, many years ago flipping the papers of magazines. On their pages and I found a world of design filled with inspiration, ideas and lovely projects to begin.
Many years later I am experiencing utter joy by having a chance to work with a few magazines- passing on my inspiration and projects for others to flip through. Today I received a copy of my bird tutorial featured in a German parenting magazine, I cannot even read it:) I am giddy, like a school girl who just received her first love note!

My breakdown of magazines I have sought for inspiration has changed over the years from Martha Stewart (wedding craze)> Real Simple > Cooking Light (after getting married) > Good (During a social consciousness period) > ending at what has become my go to magazine for this stage in life Ready Made (hand-making your life).
Plus It’s been great joy to see so many lovely magazines popping up online these days. Here are a few of my favorites- free to check out. They surely contain enough inspiration to keep you occupied all weekend long…

LOVE Sweet Paul’s new online mag. I haven’t heard of Read Made, I’ll have to check that one out. Real Simple and Martha Stewart Weddings are my “can’t live without” reads.
Congrats on your magazine! That’s super exciting! You’re becoming such a big deal! You deserve it.
Tegan you should definitely check out ready made- you would love all the fabulous tutorials they present.
Chels thanks:) Don’t know about a big deal, but I am so happy to be passing on the party love- even if it’s across the sea for now.
That’s so awesome that your birdies are in a magazine in Europe! Ms. Global! I will say that the title in German made me laugh out loud. I can see why you can’t read the article about your own work! lol!
send the link to Gabi, she will translate it!
How exciting!
