Welcome to THE CITY CRADLE where event planning, design and motherhood collide.

Giving Piper Some Love

06.10.08 Posted in Momhood by Mike

With two babies on the way, our lovely dog Piper is soon to be a bit neglected. She is a great dog and one of our favorite things about her is her love for giving “hi-fives.” No joke, we chose to teach her “hi-five” instead of “shake.” Here is her best example:

On a related note, Piper’s namesake, one our of our favorite pastors John Piper, recently gave a wonderful message on Spiritual Depression. Vicky and I were incredibly encouraged since this is something we all deal with. It was very refreshing to hear a pastor speak honestly on this subject.

Hi FIVE! I knew the Lord would answer your prayers. Twins, awesome! I’m currently on a road trip through Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Washington. Have a good summer and stay cool.
