When life hands you files…
why not make a little love flag bunting?
We have been busy this last week doing all sorts of incredibly non-creative, boring, get our lives in order sorts of tasks. We have been paying taxes, re-filing life, applying for business licenses… and most dreadfully, preparing to take the California driving exam. Yup… [...]

We have a few chairs in our home. Okay, we have a lot of chairs. It has been a running joke- every time we move, all the single guys we know come over to load up and proceed to gasp at the insane number of chairs they are asked to lift and haul into the [...]

The answer to our neighborhood trivia last week was…. The paint chipped beauty of age.
Your comments were so fun for me to read and I certainly agree that I would love the very cool knocker, or the sprite tree to be mine, yum! What I do have instead is a lovely house surrounded by beautiful [...]

I have always wanted a mantle in our home, over a wood burning fireplace, on a wall filled with bricks. Sometimes life just makes you smile and every once in awhile you get exactly what it is you would like.
Our mantel….
I love how warm and homey it makes me feel.
blessings.
PS. The baby stools were [...]

Every old house has it’s quirks. When you rent an old home that is listed well under market value there are bound to be a few strange issues.
Like this wall.
Not exactly my style, it seems to make the wall look bruised- ouch!
The couple who own this home were sadly separated when the husband passed [...]
